MacDonald, William Paul "Willie" – 90, West Bay Road, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, November 27, 2012. Born in West Bay Road, he was a son of the late Mary MacDonald. Willie P. was raised by his loving grandparents, the late Margaret and Malcolm D. MacDonald. He was retired from Stora Forest Industries. Willie P. was always a very quiet and humble gentleman. He was a member of St. Margaret’s Parish, West Bay Road. Surviving are relatives in Cape Breton, New Glasgow, New Brunswick and the United States. Visitation will be from 7-9p.m. Friday in the Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Port Hawkesbury. Funeral Mass will be 11a.m. Saturday from St. Margaret’s Roman Catholic Church, West Bay Road, with Father Barrett Clare-Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the West Bay Road Volunteer Fire Department.
