van der Putten, Henri – 84, Guysborough, passed away on Wednesday, June 19, 2013, in the QEII Infirmary Site, Halifax. Born in St. Juste, France, he was a son of the late Henri and Corri (van den Hoeven) van der Putten. Henri immigrated to Canada in 1954 and was employed as a Restoration Architect for Parks Canada throughout the country. He was predeceased by his parents. Survived by his loving wife, Minke; children, Michael (Cathy); Olaf (Diane); Brigitta, Tanya (Ihor); Astrid (Troy) and Marcel; grandchildren, Kiara, Marcel, Kyle, Samuel, Riley and Sterling; great-grandson, Lucas. There will be no visitation. Funeral mass will be 11 a.m. Saturday, from St. Ann’s Roman Catholic Church, Guysborough, with Father Lazarus officiating. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery.
