ISADORE, Barbara Mae -58, We’koqma’q First Nation. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, great aunt, great great-aunt and friend, in the Halifax Infirmary, QEII on Tuesday, May 12, 2015. Born in Baddeck, she was a daughter of the late John Allen Cremo and Isabelle Isadore (of Wagmatcook). Barbara enjoyed her embroidery, her bingos and her pride and joys were her grandchildren. Barbara was immensely proud of her family and grandchildren. Barbara was a devoted Catholic and one of her fondest memories was her annual trips with the Sainte Anne de Beaupre. She was an avid Sainte Anne Pilgrimage for many years. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She is survived by her daughter, Kasonnio Patton, Kahnawake, Quebec; sons, Anthony "Tony" Isadore, Robert (Autwen) Isadore, Derek Isadore and Ivan Isadore, all from We’koqma’q and her K9 companion, Prince; sisters, Diana Isadore, Membertou; Theresa Dennis, Sydney; grandchildren, Zoe, Stryder, Connor and Riley (Tony), Brooke, Ann, Jaczi and Julien (Autwen), Michael, Ryan, Matthew and James (Kasonnio Patton); many nieces and nephews; godchildren. She was predeceased by her parents; sister, Mary Ellen "Molly" Sylliboy; brother, Allan John Isadore; her partner of many years, Joel Tullak. On behalf of Barbara’s family, would like to extend their gratitude to all the staff at the We’koqma’q Theresa Cremo Memorial Health Centre, Victoria County Memorial Hospital, Cape Breton Regional Hospital and the Halifax Infirmary, QEII.
