MacDONALD, John Dougall "Brian" - It is with our deepest sorrow that we announce the passing of our loving husband, father and grandfather, John Dougall Brian MacDonald "Brian" of Judique, Age 59. Brian passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loved ones, on Sunday, May 31, 2015. He will be forever remembered for his kind soul, giving spirit and loving ways. He was a devoted father and grandfather who loved to laugh and treasured his time with his family and close friends. Brian was predeceased by his father John Gregory "Jocksey" MacDonald. He is survived by his mother, the former Mary Sarah (Sally) Quinn; his wife, the former Darlene LeBlanc, Long Point; his children Sherin (Kayle) Warkentin, Nathan (Shelley), Tina (Jon) and Jeramy; his grandchildren, Delaney, Liam, Molly, McKinley, Morgan and Emily; his brothers, Billy, Quinn, Jim, Tom, Bob and his sisters, Dena, Patrice, Catherine, Loretta and Ardie. Visitation will be held in the Community Room of the Judique Firehall on Wednesday, June 3 from 2-9 p.m. and Thursday, June 4 from 12-1 p.m. The funeral mass will be held from St. Andrew’s Roman Catholic Church, Judique, on Thursday, June 4 at 2 p.m. with Father Allan MacMillan officiating. Burial to follow in St. Andrew’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory will be greatly appreciated to the Strait Richmond Hospital Palliative Care Society.
