EDWARDS, Charlene Marie- 50, Troy, Inverness Co., passed away on Sunday, May 31, 2015, at home. Born in Antigonish, she was a daughter of Hugh A. and Mary Agnes (MacLellan) MacLeod. She was an employee of Mac Motors in Port Hawkesbury. Surviving are her husband of 28 years, Bruce; daughters, Brooke (Brett Sutherland), Halifax; Nicole, Troy; son, Brent (Kristen Brown), Grande Prairie, AB; sisters, Paula (Angus) MacDougall, Queensville; Hughina (John) MacDougall, West Bay Road; Heather (Dwayne) Holder, Creignish; brother, Mark, Olds, AB; granddaughter, Bella May; father and mother-in-law, William and Norma Edwards, Kings Road; sister-in-law, Janet Lee (Wayne) McDonald, Moncton; several aunts and uncles and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by sister, Ronalda Dale; uncle, Donald MacLellan; maternal grandparents, Ronald and Christine MacLellan; paternal grandparents, Angus and Margaret MacLeod. Visitation will be from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday in Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Port Hawkesbury. Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Thursday from St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, Port Hawkesbury with Rev. Evelyn Knorr officiating. Burial at a later date in Holy Trinity Anglican Church Cemetery, Port Hawkesbury. Family flowers only please.
