SCHRADER, (Borden) Jean Patricia - Age 71, of Truro, and formerly of Canso passed away peacefully Monday, July 6th, 2015. Born in Hazelhill on August 11th, 1943, she was the daughter of Edith (Johnson) Borden and the late Stanley Borden. She is survived by her husband, George, Canso; her mother, Edith, Canso; son, John, Canso; daughters, Carol-Anne, Owlshead; Judith, Lake Charlotte; Tracy and Shelley, both of Truro; sisters, Ida, Fredericton, NB; Mildred, New Glasgow; brothers, Carl, Mount Uniacke; Wayne and Russel, both of Hazelhill; Kevin, Canso; 11 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by father, Stanley; sister, Judith; and brothers, Lorimer, Lawrence (Buck), Vernon and Gary. Visitations will take place in Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Canso, Friday, July 10th, from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. with funeral being held on Saturday, July 11th at 2 p.m. from the funeral home. Burial to follow service in the Fourth Hill Cemetery. Memorial donations in memory of Jean may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society and Palliative Care.
