Richards, Francis William "Frank" – age 85, of Long Stretch Road, Inv. Co. Passed away on Wednesday, August 19, 2015 in Inverness Consolidated Memorial Hospital, Inverness. Born in Alder Point, he was a son of the late George Francis and Evelyn (Boutilier) Richards.Frank worked at many places and jobs over his lifetime. He was probably best known for owning and operating Reshore Texaco on Hwy 105, with his brother Louie, for 10 years. He is survived by his sons, Thomas, MacIntyre Lake; George at home, Long Stretch Road; John, Port Hawkesbury; Robert, Long Stretch Road; sisters, Doreen, Lois and Louise all of Ontario; brothers, Louie Reshore, Alder Point and Wilson Reshore, Toronto, Ont.; 11 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren. Frank was predeceased by his wife, Margaret; a daughter in infancy; brother, Henry; grandchildren, Chaise Alexander Timmons and Chance "CJ" Timmons. Visitation will be held from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., Wednesday, September 9, 2015 in Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Port Hawkesbury. A private graveside service will be held in Southbrook Cemetery, Port Hawkesbury. Memorial donations in memory of Frank may be made to Strait Richmond Palliative Care Society or a charity of one’s choice.
