HAYDEN, Ruth Mildred, Age 75, formerly of Manchester, Guysborough Co., passed away peacefully at Riverview Homes, Stellarton, on Saturday, March 5, 2016. She is survived by sisters, Shirley, Pearl, Ruby (Dan), Grace (Sandy) and brother, Grant; several nieces and nephews. Pre-deceased by parents, Everett and Mae (Hull) Hayden. Ruth had continued to enjoy shopping and going out to eat with family. She maintained her sense of humor and enjoying bantering with friends. Special thanks is extended to the staff and residents at Riverview who loved and cared for her. You were her extended family. There will be no visitation. Funeral service will be held in Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Guysborough on Wednesday, March 9, 2016 at 2:30 p.m. with Rev. Warren Fitzgerald officiating. Burial in Manchester Cemetery. Family flowers only please. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of choice.
