LANDRY, Simon Wilfred – age 95 – Richmond Villa, St. Peter’s. Passed away Saturday, February 25, 2017 in the Strait Richmond Hospital, Evanston.
He is survived by children Anne Samson (Etienne), Petit De Grat; Wilfred Landry (Joan), Boudreauville; Lloyd Landry (Wendy), Calgary; Phillip Landry, Halifax; Donna Hutt (Perry), Blackfalds; Geraldine Samson (Blair), D’Escousse; Lisa Landry (Anthony), Petit De Grat and Darren Landry, Louisdale; 21 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
He is predeceased by his wife of 67 years, Sabine Rose, his parents, Simon "Sammy" and Bertha Mae Landry, sons, Joseph Alphonse, North Sydney and Wilbert, Little Anse, granddaughters, Stacy and Paula Landry, and all siblings, Bernadette, Bertina, Lucy Mae, Madonna, George Joseph, Joseph Aime, Raymond, Francois, Marie Evangeline, Elizabeth, Mary Evangeline, Felix, Colin, Newman, Christine, and Cyril.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Port Hawkesbury. Visitation will take place at the Glen Sampson Memorial Room, Louisdale on Sunday, March 5th from 2-8 p.m. Funeral mass will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, March 6th in St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, Petit De Grat. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery.
