I would like to express my sincere and deepest sympathy on Joe's passing. A couple weeks ago we had a lovely chat. I had found an old school photo, on line, with Joe and classmates. I made him a copy and we had a grand chat about all the folks in the photo. We live in the same building so we would meet every so often and chat. He was such a lovely man and will indeed be missed.

I am so sorry to hear of Joe's passing. My condolences go out to the entire family. I remember Joe for his passion for baseball. He and dad had great prolonged discussions about ball and ball teams. I do recall your mother telling mom many years ago that she was always glad when dad was the umpire because Joe wouldn't ‘argue with Jim'! I remember Joe as an outfielder and a great supporter of the team in Guysborough. My thoughts are with you all.
