DORTON, Marie Marguerite "Maggie" - 90, Port Hawkesbury, died Monday, May 14, 2007, in Port Hawkesbury Nursing Home. Born in Louisdale, Richmond Co., she was a daughter of the late Edward and Mary (Boudreau) Sampson.
Maggie was a homemaker and member of St. Joseph's Parish, Port Hawkesbury.
She is survived by nephew, Joe (Catherine) Totten, Lower River Inhabitants; niece, Marion (Bernie) MacDonald, Port Hawkesbury. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She was predeceased by her husband, Daniel; sisters, Annie and Maude Totten.
Visitation will be held 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today with a vigil service at 8:30 p.m., both in Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Port Hawkesbury. Funeral mass will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, Father Bill Crispo officiating. Burial in the parish cemetery.
