Davis, Rose Ellen - 94, Port Hastings, died Thursday, August 12, 2010 in Strait Richmond Hospital, Evanston. Born in Sugar Camp, Inverness Co., she was a daughter of the late Malcolm MacIntyre and Annie MacLean. Rose was a member of St. David’s United Church, Port Hastings and a lifetime member of St. David’s U.C.W. Rose is survived by a daughter, Irene (Albert) Wheaton, Port Hastings, granddaughter, Lindsay and great-grandson, Caden Wheaton, Port Hawkesbury; sister-in-law Mary Davis, Port Hawkesbury. She was predeceased by her husband, Louis. Visitation will be 2-4 and 7-9p.m. Sunday, in Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Port Hawkesbury. Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Monday, August 16, from St. David’s United Church, Port Hastings with Rev. Sheldon LeGrow officiating. Burial in St. David’s Cemetery.
