GREENCORN, Laurier David "Laurie" – Age 55, Canso, passed away suddenly on Monday, March 14, 2022, in Canso. Born in Antigonish he was the only son of Howard (Emily) Greencorn and Shirley (George) Greencorn.
Laurie was a big hockey card collector and loved watching all sports no matter what it was. He worked all his life in the fishery since a young age. Those who knew Laurie knew him a very quiet and private person.
Besides his parents, Laurie is survived by his sisters, Della (Frank), Canso; Mary (Manfred), Canso; Leona (Mike), Truro; Shirley (Dave), Canso; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Sunday, March 20, 2022, in All Saints Anglican Cemetery, Canso with Elaine Bushell officiating. Family flowers only please. Arrangements are under the care of Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Canso. Words of comfort may be forwarded to the family at www.haverstocks.com
