CREAMER, Beulah - 89, Canso Seaside Manor, formerly of Phillips Harbour, passed away January 11, 2004.
Born in Half Island Cove, she was a daughter of the late Stephen and Beatrice Greencorn. Beulah was a member of the Half Island Cove Baptist Church and thoroughly enjoyed singing and listening to hymns. She was a homemaker most of her life, and her home was always open for a cup of tea and a good game of cards, but never on Sunday.
She is survived by her brother, Howard (Jean) Greencorn, Half Island Cove; daughter, Mabel Hunt Hendsbee, Phillips Harbour; sons, Gordon, New Minas; Edward (Beth), Medford, Mass., U.S.A.; Clarence (Bernadette), Phillips Harbour; Harold (Cynthia), Port Felix; 11 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Harvey; daughter, Linda in infancy; sisters, Evelyn Creamer, Dailia Greencorn, Marguerite Hendsbee; Hazel MacKenzie; brothers, Hugh and Murray; grandson, Jimmy Creamer; son-in-law, John Hunt.
Visitation will be 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today and Tuesday in Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Canso. Funeral service 2 p.m. Wednesday in Half Island Cove Baptist Church, Rev. David Wheeler officiating. Burial will be in Union Cemetery, Queensport. Memorial donations may be made to Canso Seaside Manor or Half Island Cove Baptist Church.
