Charles Patrick 'Charlie' - 72, Canso, passed away April 17, 2004, in Eastern Memorial Hospital, Canso. Born in Whitehead, he was a son of the late Ernest and Mary Alice (Bond) Casey.
He was employed in the Maintenance Department with the Town of Canso for a number of years until his retirement. He was a member of Star of the Sea Church.
Surviving are sisters, Minnie Richardson, Anna Snow, both of Canso; Stella Parker (Joseph), Hazel Hill; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brother, Joseph Daniel, and Patrick in infancy. Cremation has taken place.
Visitation will be held 2-9 p.m. Wednesday in Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Canso. Funeral 11 a.m. Thursday in Star of the Sea Church, Canso, Rev. Daniel Boudreau officiating. Burial in the parish cemetery.
