CALDER, Rebecca Isabell - 92, Malagawatch, Inverness Co., passed away peacefully Monday, March 28, 2005, in Alderwood Rest Home, Baddeck, where she had resided for the past few years. Born in Malagawatch, she was a daughter of the late Hugh and Mary Effie (Campbell) Calder. She will be sadly missed by all those who loved her. She was a homemaker and a member of Fulton Presbyterian Church, Malagawatch and member of the Island View Seniors Club, Marble Mountain. Surviving is sister Johnena “Jean” Mac Donald, Estmere; nieces, Arlene (Don) MacLellan and Sally (Ritchie) Ellis; nephews, Charles (Sadie) MacDonald and Hugh (Mary Lou) MacDonald; Grandnieces and grandnephews, Gordon (Kathy) MacDonald, Peter and Ann MacLellan, Alicea and Julie Mac Donald, Kristan and Matthew Ellis. She was predeceased by sisters Alice and Georgie; brother-in- law, Gordon MacDonald.
Visitation will be 9:30 ? 10:45 a.m. Saturday with funeral service at 11 a.m. both in Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Whycocomagh, Rev. Ron Sharpe officiating. Interment in Malagawatch Cemetery.
