CUMMINGS, Hazel Ruth - 86, Port Shoreham, Guysborough Co., died Sunday, September 18, 2005, in Milford Haven Home for Special Care, Guysborough. Born in Lower Manchester, she was a daughter of the late George R. and Ruth E. (Hart) Myers. Hazel was a long-time resident of Port Shoreham where she operated a farm and store with her husband, Wilbur. She also sold Fuller Brush and Avon products. She enjoyed quilting and knitting. She was a member of Boylston United Church. She is survived by her husband, Wilbur, Milford Haven Home for Special Care; sister, Elsie (Earle) Collins, Halifax; brother, Charles (Helen) Myers, Sackville, N.B.; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by brother, Earl Myers; sisters, Evelyn (Murray) Lauzon, Gertrude Simpson. Visitation will be held 7-9 p.m. today in Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Guysborough. Funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday in Boylston United Church, Rev. Leonard Oracheski officiating. Burial will be in Manchester Cemetery. Donations in memory of Hazel may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia, Boylston United Church or a charity of choice.
