CAMERON, Catherine Agnes - 100, died peacefully in Inverary Manor, Inverness, on Friday, October 14, 2005. Born in West Lake Ainslie, she was a daughter of the late Archie and Margaret MacDonald. She was predeceased by her husband, John D. Cameron; daughter, Florence Gergio; sisters, Margaret MacPherson, Anna MacGillivary, and brother, Jim MacDonald. She is survived by her children, Archie (Alice), Whycocomagh; Gus (Matilda), Mabou; Margaret (Fred) Morrison, Whycocomagh; 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, and her extended family at Inverary Manor, Inverness, where she lived for the past six years. Catherine was a member of Immaculate Conception Church, West Lake Ainslie. She was a woman of strong Christian faith, with great love for her family. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and will be greatly missed. Visitation will be in Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Whycocomagh, on Sunday, October 16, from 2-9 p.m. Funeral mass will be held on Monday, October 17 at 2 p.m. in Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church with Rev. Bernie MacDonald officiating. Burial in the parish cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Inverary Manor or charity of choice.
