CHISHOLM, Jean Marie - 45, Askilton, Inverness Co., died Saturday, November 12, 2005, in Strait Richmond Hospital, Evanston. Born in Sydney, she was a daughter of the late John Dan and Bernice (MacLean) MacDonald. Jean was employed as an assistant manager of the A&W Restaurant, Port Hastings, and a member of St. Margaret's Parish, West Bay Road. She is survived by her loving husband of 23 years, Alan; daughters, Andrea Dawn, Victoria Lee, both of Askilton; son, John Colin, West Bay Road; sisters, Sarah (Rodney) Goods, Mulgrave; Margie (Gary) McNamara, Sandra Lee (Jimmy) MacRae, both of Evanston; brothers, John Dougie and Stephen (Jacquelyn), both of West Bay Road; several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be 7-9 p.m. today and 2-4, 7-9 p.m. Tuesday in Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Port Hawkesbury. Funeral mass will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday in St. Margaret's Roman Catholic Church, Father Allan MacPhie officiating. Burial in the parish cemetery. Donations in memory of Jean may be made to the Strait Richmond Palliative Care Society or Canadian Cancer Society. Words of comfort may be forwarded to the family at: www.haverstocks.com
