COGSWELL, Mary Cecilia - 95, Hureauville, Richmond Co., died Wednesday, May 3, 2006, in Strait Richmond Hospital, Evanston. Born in Hureauville, she was a daughter of the late Henry and Mary Ann (Goyetche) Richard. In her younger years, Mary worked as a clerk in the former Fred Grant Store, Grantville. She was a member of St. Francis de Sales Parish, Lower River Inhabitants, and was a former member of St. Francis CWL. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Surviving are many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Patrick J.; sisters, Louise, Janie, Julia, Bertha, and Eva; brothers, Alexander, Phil, Willie, and Godfrey. Visitation will be 2-9 p.m. Friday in Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Port Hawkesbury. Funeral mass will be held 11 a.m. Saturday in St. Francis de Sales Roman Catholic Church, Father Allan MacPhie officiating. Burial in the parish cemetery.
