CAMERON, Julia - 80, Port Hawkesbury. It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and a great friend to many, on Friday, August 4, 2006, in Strait Richmond Hospital. Julia was born in Lake Ainslie, Cape Breton, on July 11, 1926, to the late Dan C. and Jessie (MacLean) MacDonald. Julia loved her family unconditionally and was happiest when she was spending time with family. She enjoyed curling, nature and camping, card games with her friends, was a member of the Eastern Star; had a great passion for Scottish music, and was a great fiddle player herself. Julia's memory will always be cherished by daughters, Shirley (Rod) Morgan (Natalie and Rodney); Sharon (Mark) Burke (Jarett and Emily); Sheila (Gary) Long (Bhreagh, Ashley and William), all of Port Hawkesbury; Shelley (Paul) Seymour (Haley), Moncton, N.B.; sons, Reggie (Mary Ann) (Robbie, Hannah, Kendon and Alexander), Windsor, Ont.; Graham (Deanna) (Ryan), Long Point; Bobby (Sherri), Toronto, Ont.; brother, Charles N. (Jessie) MacDonald, East Lake Ainslie; seven great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Donald; grandson, Bradley Steven Morgan; a brother in infancy; sisters, Eva Larkin, Hannah Harrington. Visitation will be 4-9 p.m. Tuesday in Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Port Hawkesbury. Funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday in St. Mark's United Church, Port Hawkesbury, Rev. Leonard Oracheski officiating. Burial in South Brook Cemetery.
