Wilbur A. CUMMINGS Obituary

CUMMINGS, Wilbur A. - 98, Guysborough, died peacefully January 31, 2007 at the Milford Haven Home for Special Care. Born in Port Shoreham, he was the son of the late Hugh and Lydia "Lillian" (Myers) MacMaster Cummings. Prior to moving to Guysborough in 2005, Wilbur had been a life-long resident of Port Shoreham where he operated a farm and store with his wife of 64 years, Hazel (Myers), who predeceased him in 2005. Also predeceased by half-brothers Abner MacMaster and John MacMaster in infancy, half-sisters Annie MacMaster and Marguerite Simpson. He is survived by several nieces and nephews.


Visitation will be Friday, February 2, 7-9 p.m.at Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Guysborough. Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday at Boylston United Church, Rev. Leonard Oracheski officiating. Burial to follow in Manchester Cemetery. Donations in memory of Wilbur may be made to Boylston United Church, the Milford Haven Van Fund, or to a charity of choice.
