Clyke, Ronald David – 51, Guysborough, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 3, 2010 surrounded by his family and friends in Guysborough Memorial Hospital, Guysborough. Ronald was born in Guysborough, a son of Ainley Clyke, Sunnyville, Guys. Co., and the late Mary Jane Clyke. He was a woodsman and was a member of Grace Baptist Church, Sunnyville. He was an Associate Member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Br. 81, Guysborough. He leaves to mourn sons, Clifford Byard, Halifax and Tyler Clyke, Antigonish; sisters, Theresa (James) Dorrington, Sunnyville; Brenda Clyke, Etobicoke, Ont.; Patsy (Mike), Guysborough; brothers, James “Boo” (Edith),and Charles, both of Sunnyville; Archie (Diane), Mulgrave and Ivan, Guysborough; several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday in Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Guysborough. Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Thursday in Grace Baptist Church, Sunnyville with Rev. Kevin Hendsbee officiating. Burial in Evergreen Cemetery. Family flowers only please.
