Cullens, Leonora E. “Lennie” - Mulgrave. On Sunday, January 23, 2011 Lennie passed away in St. Martha’s Regional Hospital, Antigonish after a long battle with cancer. She is survived by her husband Neil, children, Catherine (Fred) Hussey, Robert (Wendy), Frances (Michael) Neale, and Margaret (David) Eager, brother, Louis (Connie) Forbes, sister, Georgia Krisjannsen, eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Cremation has taken place. According to her stated wishes, there will be no visitation or ceremony. Her ashes will ultimately be buried with those of her husband in a plot in Little Narrows Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
Special thanks to Drs. John Hickey, Brian Steeves, Jean Cameron and the Palliative Care Units of GASHA. Memorial donations in memory of Lennie may be made to Canadian Cancer Society. Funeral arrangements are under the care of Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Port Hawkesbury.
