Cotton, Deborah Margaret – It is with heavy hearts that we, the family of Deborah "Debbie" Margaret Cotton announces her passing on Tuesday, August 5, 2014. She was lovingly cared for at home by her devoted husband, Danny; her four children, Matthew (Raphaele), Robin, Amy and Joshua (Sharin) and her four granddaughters, Kyla, Makenzie, Tessa, and Paisley. Debbie was predeceased by her parents, Cyril Knott, Catherine Patricia (Knott) Chisholm and her stepfather, Duncan Hector Chisholm. In addition to her husband, children and grandchildren, Debbie leaves in mourning her sister, Deanna (Graham) Cameron; her brothers, Derrick (Kay) Knott and Darrell (Cindy) Knott. Debbie will be remembered as a compassionate nurse, a dedicated teacher and a true mentor to all who crossed her path. As a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, Debbie will live on in all who knew her through her passion for family, travel and most importantly, her love of life. Cremation has taken place under the care of Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Port Hawkesbury. At Debbie’s request, there will be no service.
