Cameron, Alice Rebecca – 61, Whycocomagh formerly of Margaree Valley. It is with very heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Alice on Thursday, September 4, 2014 in Inverness Consolidated Memorial Hospital, Inverness.
Alice hails from Margaree Valley daughter of the late James and Margaret (Ross) Ingraham. Alice was employed for 23 years as a bookkeeper with Morrison Fuels, Whycocomagh. She was a member of Stewart United Church Whycocomagh, Girl Guide Leader, and Superintendent of Sunday School. Alice lives on in the hearts of her adoring son, Constable Adrian, Red Deer, Alberta; her loving daughter, Ashley Cameron, Whycocomagh; sister, Muriel Ingraham, Margaree; sister-in-law, Margie (Fred) Morrison, Whycocomagh; brother-in-law, Gus (Matlida) Cameron, Mabou; along with many aunts, uncles and cousins. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her dearly loved husband, Archie Cameron.
At this time the family would like to thank the Doctors and Nursing staff at the Inverness Hospital’s Palliative Care Unit, with special thanks to Lori MacDonald.
Visitation will be held 2-9 p.m. Sunday, September 7 in Dennis Haverstock Funeral Chapel, Whycocomagh. Funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Monday, September 8 in Stewart United Church, Whycocomagh with Rev. Allison Etter officiating. Burial to follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, West Lake Ainslie.
