Clyke, William Leslie "Les" age 84 - Sunnyville, Guysborough County. Passed away on Tuesday, January 20, 2015 in St. Martha's Regional Hospital, Antigonish. Les was born in Sunnyville; he was a son of the late Archie and Annie (Pelley) Clyke. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 81, Guysborough. He was employed by the City of Toronto for 30 years. He is survived by his companion, Gladys Pelly, daughters, Evelyn (Gary) Saunders, Beaverton, Ont.; Cecilia (Ken) Dicker, Wainwright, Alberta; Brenda, Brampton, Ont.; sons, Terry (Flo), Wainwright, Alberta; Melvin "Bucky", Toronto, Ont.; Kim (Jessie), Myranam, Alberta; brothers, Gordon "Duck" (Pearl) Sunnyville; Ainley, Guysborough; 20 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and other extended family members and friends. He was predeceased by son, Raymond; brothers, Cecil in infancy and James; grandson, Jonathan. Special thanks to Dr. Gallant and Dr. Cooper; along with nurses of St. Martha's Hospital. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 27 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Guysborough. Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, in Sunnyville United Baptist Church with Pastor Michael Morrison officiating. Burial in Evergreen Cemetery, Guysborough. Family flowers only please.
