Clyke, Gordon A. "Duck" - age 68 years of Sunnyville, Guysborough Co.; a well known trucker passed away on Friday, August 21, 2015 in Guysborough Memorial Hospital. Gordon is survived by his wife, Pearl; son, Glenn (Josie); daughters, Wanda (Bob) and Crystal (James); grandchildren, Devante, Mackenzie, Stephan and DeSean; brother, Ainley; adopted sister, Evelyn (Gary); adopted brother, Bruce; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Archibald Clyke and Anne Mae (Pelley) Clyke; brothers, Les, James and Cecil who died in infancy. Visitation will be held Wednesday, August 26 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. with the funeral service being held at 3 p.m. all in Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Guysborough with Pastor Michael Morrison officiating. Burial to follow in Evergreen Cemetery, Guysborough. Family flowers only please. Donations may be made in memory of Gordon to the charity of your choice.
