Chisholm, Joseph "Joe" Arthur – St. Francis Harbour, Guysborough Co. It is with great sadness that the family of Joseph Arthur Chisholm announces his passing at Milford Haven Home for Special Care, Guysborough on Wednesday, June 7, 2017 at the age of 84 years. He is now in the presence of the Lord. Joe was born in St. Francis Harbour on Sept 16, 1932 to the late John and Mary (Diggins) Chisholm (St. Francis Harbour). He is predeceased by brothers, William, Jack, Louis; Half brothers, Thomas "Tom" Chisholm, James "Jim" Chisholm, Eugene Diggins and sister, Cecelia. He is survived by sister, Ann (John) Power, St. Francis Harbour and many nieces and nephews. He was a very loving and devoted husband to the late Catherine Grace (Goldworthy) Chisholm, and father to Ted Chisholm (Susan), Robert Chisholm and Jo-Ann Chisholm (John). Joe will be fondly remembered by his grandchildren, Matthew, Timothy, Joseph, David, Michael and Mary, Matthew (Katherine) and Jaquline and his great-grandchildren, Alexzander, Kayliegh, Johnny, Jaxson and James (deceased). Joe was very dedicated to his family and work. He moved to Ontario and worked hard for many years for the Ministry of Transportation (Ontario) Surveying Department. His love for his family and Nova Scotia brought him back to St. Francis Harbour where he retired with his wife Cathy. There will be no visitation. Funeral Mass will be celebrated in memory of Joe on Wednesday June 14at 11:00 a.m., in St. Francis of Assisi Roman Catholic Church, St. Francis Harbour, with Father Allen MacPhie officiating. Burial to follow in the parish cemetery. A reception will follow in the Church Hall. Memorial donations in memory of Joe may be made to Guysborough Memorial Hospital Foundation, P. O.
