CROFT, Annie "Jane" – Age 79, Rockdale, Richmond Co. With heavy hearts we announce the sudden passing of our beloved wife and mother, Jane Croft on Saturday, May 18th, 2019, in St Martha's Regional Hospital, Antigonish surrounded by her family. Born in West L’Ardoise, she was the daughter of the late Placide and Sophie (Evong) Roach. Jane lived her early adult life in Halifax then later moved to Rockdale with her family. Left to grieve is her loving husband and best friend of 47years, Carl Croft, Rockdale; son, Wayne (Tannis) Croft, River Bourgeois; daughter, Michelle; sisters, Sarah (Lavin) Richards, Demark NS; May (Clifford) Mombourquette, Halifax; special niece, Marie (Bruce) Prout , West L’Ardoise; many more nieces and nephews as well. Predeceased by her in-laws, Stan and Hilda Croft, (Liscomb); brothers, Lauchie and Loius Roach; sisters, Katherine 'Kay' (Joe) Laben, Beatrice (Loius) Taylor, Elizabeth (Fred) Bona, Theresa (Gordon) Lerue, and Annie Jane in infancy. We would like to extend our gratitude to the doctors and staff of ICU for their compassion and support during this difficult time. Visitation will be today, Tuesday, May 21, from 2-4 p.m. in Holy Guardian Angles Visitation Parlour, L'Arodise. A graveside service will be held at 6 p.m. on Friday, May 31 in Holy Guardian Angels Cemetery, L'Ardoise with Father Antolin Asor officiating. Family flowers only please.
