Maxwell Kingston "Max" Hendsbee Obituary

Hendsbee, Maxwell Kingston “Max” – 55, Queensport, Guysborough Co., died Monday November 20, 2006 in the Guysborough Memorial Hospital. Born in Canso, he was the son of the late Fredrick and Jean (George) Hendsbee. He was a lobster buyer for 30 years in Canso and Little Dover. He is survived by his wife of 33 years Susan (Apfeld); sons Christopher, Sudbury, ON and William, Korea; brothers Eric (Dellas) Philips Harbour, and Gary (Julie) Lyons Brook; several nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by sisters Joan and Diane; brothers Eugene and Ronald.


Visitation will be and 7-9 pm Wednesday and 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm Thursday in the Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Canso. Funeral Service will be held 11 am Friday in the Saint James Anglican Church, Halfway Cove, Rev. Tory Byrne officiating. Burial in the Bayview Baptist Cemetery, Half Island Cove. Memorial Donations in memory of Max may be made to Bayview Baptist Cemetery, Guysborough Memorial Hospital, Canadian Liver Foundation Guysborough County & Area Chapter c/o Dale O’Connor, P.O.
