Campbell Harold - 67 of Blues Mills passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, Dec. 28, 2006. Born in Nyanza,Victoria Co. he was a son of Hannah (MacLennan) Campbell , Blues Mills and the late Daniel Campbell. During his lifetime Harold was a short order cook , a woodsman, a member of the Royal Canadian Navy, and the Royal Canadian Legion Br 123, Whycocomagh, a commissionaire and a barber. Harold had a great love of music and he will be greatly missed. He is survived by his wife , the former Pearl (Keeling)(MacDonald) children Brenda(Bill) Ashford, Halifax; Colleen(Mark) MacKenzie, Whitecourt AB; Hal, Baddeck; Valerie Nicholson (Rob Wigger), Edmonton; Melanie Kennedy (Francis Sampson), Port Hawkesbury; sisters Mae(Malcolm) Campbell,Wellington, ON; Sharon (Michael) Palmer ,Novar, ON; brother Henry (Jean) Pembroke, ON; eight step children; ten grand children. He was predeceased by brothers Robert, and Donald. Visitation will be held 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday in the Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Whycocomagh. Funeral service will be held 11a.m. Monday from the Gospel Hall, Blues Mills, Fred Bartlett officiating. Burial in Harbourview Cemetery, South Haven.
