Campbell Harold - 67 of Blues Mills passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, Dec. 28, 2006. Born in Nyanza,Victoria Co. he was a son of Hannah (MacLennan) Campbell , Blues Mills and the late Daniel Campbell. During his lifetime Harold was a short order cook , a woodsman, a member of the Royal Canadian Navy, and the Royal Canadian Legion Br 123, Whycocomagh, a commissionaire and a barber. Harold had a great love of music and he will be greatly missed. He is survived by his wife , the former Pearl (Keeling)(MacDonald) children Brenda(Bill) Ashford, Halifax; Colleen(Mark) MacKenzie, Whitecourt AB; Hal, Baddeck; Valerie Nicholson (Rob Wigger), Edmonton; Melanie Kennedy (Francis Sampson), Port Hawkesbury; sisters Mae(Malcolm) Campbell,Wellington, ON; Sharon (Michael) Palmer ,Novar, ON; brother Henry (Jean) Pembroke, ON; eight step children; ten grand children. He was predeceased by brothers Robert, and Donald. Visitation will be held 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday in the Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Whycocomagh. Funeral service will be held 11a.m. Monday from the Gospel Hall, Blues Mills, Fred Bartlett officiating. Burial in Harbourview Cemetery, South Haven. Memorial donations may be made to Canadian Cancer Society or Victoria County Memorial Hospital Foundation, Baddeck. Words of comfort may be forwarded to the family at www.haverstocks.com
