GOSBEE, Pauline Bernadette – 69, Guysborough, passed away on Friday, November 15, 2013, in the Guysborough Memorial Hospital. Born on September 26, 1944, in Guysborough, she was a daughter of the late Harold and Jean (Munroe) Worth.
Pauline was a member of St. Ann’s Parish, Guysborough, as well as a former member of St. Ann’s Parish Ladies Aid. She loved going to bingo and playing cards and spending time with her grandchildren. She enjoyed watching game shows on TV, especially The Price Is Right. She worked for over 20 years in the kitchen at the Milford Haven Home for Special Care, Guysborough.
Surviving are her husband of 50 years, Garfield "Junior" Gosbee; daughter, Joan (Bruce) Bennett, Fredericton, N.B.; sons, Wyman, Timmins, Ont; Bradley, Dartmouth; sisters, Marie (Jack) MacNeil, Dartmouth; Joan (Milton) Delaney, Halifax; Vera Townson, Brampton, Ont; Brenda (Alex) MacPherson, St. Andrew’s; brothers, Emmett Worth, Etobicoke, Ont; Jerome (Danny) Worth, New Horton, NB; Jim Worth, Etobicoke, Ont; grandchildren, Reagan and Noah Gosbee. She was predeceased by sister, Barb; brothers, Nelson and Donnie.
Visitation will be from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Monday, November 18, in Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Guysborough. Funeral mass will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, from St. Ann’s Roman Catholic Church, Guysborough, with Father Lazarus officiating, assisted by Deacon Jack MacNeil. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery. Memorial donations in Pauline’s memory may be made to the Guysborough Food Bank, St. Ann’s Cemetery Fund, or to a charity of one’s choice.
