FORBRIGGER, Gerald Henry "Jack"- 89, Lower River Inhabitants. With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Gerald Henry "Jack" Forbrigger on Friday, February 20, 2015, in the Port Hawkesbury Nursing Home. Born in Port Richmond, Richmond Co., he was a son of the late Raymond and Stella (Malcolm) Forbrigger. Jack worked several years with the C.N.R. in his younger years. Jack is survived by his half brothers, Jim (Veronica) Malcolm, Pembroke, Ont; Allan J. (Sheila) Malcolm, Cole Harbour; as well as several nieces and nephews. Jack was predeceased by brothers, Clifford and Raymond; step-dad, Bertram Malcolm; sisters, Delrosa, Gladys and Marie Steffler. Visitation will be from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday in Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Port Hawkesbury. Funeral mass will be 11 a.m. Monday from St. Francis de Sales Roman Catholic Church, Lower River Inhabitants with Father Callistus Abazie officiating. Burial in the parish cemetery.
