HENDSBEE-MORGAN, Anne Irvine - Age 89 years, St. John’s, NL formerly of Middle Melford, Guysborough County, passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Complex, St. John’s, NL on Monday, April 27, 2015. Born in Port Hawkesbury, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Maude (Wheaton) Warner. She was a member of St. James Anglican Church, Middle Melford; choir member, President of St. James Ladies Guild, A.C.W., member of the Altar Guild and Treasurer of St. James Cemetery for over 20 years.
Leaving to mourn with loving memories are daughters, Diana Hylton, Stella (Roger) Coish; sons, Paul (Helen) Morgan and Dennis (Elizabeth) Morgan; sisters, June Cunningham, Rowena (Lloyd) Hadley and Sophronia (Pat) Fillier; brother, Jimmy; 17 grandchildren; special grandchildren, Scott and Amanda (Jeff); 19 great-grandchildren, as well as many other relatives and friends. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her loving husband, Seward "Bud" Hendsbee; brothers, Roy and Eddy; sisters, Jean Murray, Eva Riato and Nina Goodwin.
Visitation will be held in Mulgrave and Area Resting Place, Friday, May 1 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. with funeral service to be held Saturday, May 2, at 11:00 a.m. in St. James Anglican Church, Middle Melford, with Rev. Evelyn Knorr officiating. Cremation to follow with interment at a later date in St. James Cemetery, Middle Melford. Family flowers only. Donations may be made to St. James Anglican Church, Middle Melford.
