Edith Elizabeth (Jamieson) Roberts Age 91, of Canso passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 13, 2015 in Eastern Memorial Hospital, Canso. Born in Halfway Cove, she was a daughter of the late Allan and Ethel (Ehler) Jamieson. She was the owner of Canso Confectionary for several years and enjoyed being a business owner. She was an active member of All Saints Anglican Church and an avid gardener. She took great pride in raising her family and being a grandparent. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She was predeceased by her husband, Judson Roberts; son, Bruce; sister, Ruth Greene, brothers, Eldred and Fred. She leaves to mourn, son, William (Marlene) Roberts; daughter, Norma Swaine; grandchildren, Angie (George) Hayman, Carla Roberts, Natasha Hill (Swaine), Kevin Roberts, Logan Polson; great-grandchildren, Jessica, Danielle, Kimberly, Hunter, Colby, Alyssa and great-great-grandchild, Liam. Visitation will be from 2-4p.m. and 7-9p.m. Friday in Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Canso. Funeral will be held 11 a.m. Saturday in All Saints Anglican Church, Canso, with Rev.
