MacMaster (Burgess), Doreen Carol – age 74 of Port Shoreham, Guys. Co., passed peacefully away with family by her side on Tuesday, September 13, 2016 in Guysborough Memorial Hospital. Born in Truro she was a daughter of the late Cyrus and Ellen (Archibald) Burgess. Doreen was always ready for a game of cards or dice, if you could pull her away from her word search puzzles. Surviving are her husband of 42 years, Neil; sons, Trevor, Calgary; Craig (Jodi), Shelburne; grandchildren, Alexis, Justis, Drake, Avrey and Evan; sister, Mary McNutt; brothers, Glendon and Dale Burgess; numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by sisters, Lorena and Rhoda; brothers, Douglas and David. Visitation will be held in Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, 54 Queen Street, Guysborough from 6-8 p.m., Sunday, September 18. The funeral service will be held in Boylston United Church on Monday, September 19 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Heather Manuel officiating. Burial in Manchester Community Cemetery. Family flowers only please.
