Hendsbee, Harold Evan - Age 76 years of Queensport, Guysborough Co. died peacefully surrounded by family on Friday, July 20, 2018 in St. Martha’s Regional Hospital, Antigonish. Born in Westville, Pictou Co., on April 4, 1942 he was a son of the late Gerald and Ena (Hurst) Hendsbee. Harold is survived by his wife of 51 years, Alice (O’Leary); son, Gary (Kim); daughter, Wendy (Tim); son, Michael (Tanya); granddaughters, Gabby, Marianne, Julia, and Madeline; step-grandchildren, Rebecca and Timmy. Harold is also survived by his sister, Margaret (Bill) Boutilier and brother, Gilbert (Susan), as well as his extended O’Leary family. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers, Evan, Gary and Wade. Visitation will be held Tuesday, July 24 from 2-9 p.m. in Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Canso. Funeral mass will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 25 from St. Vincent de Paul Roman Catholic Church, Queensport with Father Jonathan Nnajiofor officiating. Burial to follow in the Parish Cemetery.
