Byard, Jeremiah Valentine “Jerry” ? 75, Sunnyville, Guysborough Co., died Sunday, April18, 2004 in St. Martha's Regional Hospital, Antigonish. Born in Guysborough, he was a son of the late Walter and Sarah (Tynes) Byard.
He was a member of the Sunnyville United Baptist Church. He is survived by brothers, Owen and Howard (Josephine), both of Sunnyville; sisters, Florence, Sunnyville; Emma (Don), New Glasgow; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brothers, John, Archie, Ronnie, Samuel, and Joseph; sisters Mary, Cora and Louise.
Visitation will be 7-9 today, 2-4, 7-9 p.m. Wednesday in Sunnyville United Baptist Church from where funeral will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, Rev. David Wheeler officiating. Burial in Evergreen Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Sunnyville United Baptist Church. Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Guysborough.
