BORDEN, Alexander Francis - 94, Guysborough, passed away Friday, February 11, 2005, in Milford Haven Home for Special Care, Guysborough. Born in East Tracadie, Antigonish Co., he was a son of the late Stanley and Lottie (Williams) Borden. He was a retired truck driver and an adherent to the Tracadie United Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth; daughters, Edith (Jim) Walker, Toronto; Helen Parsons, Halifax; Margaret (Barry) Aucoin, Bible Hill; son, Ralph, Guysborough; sister, Lavina Williams, New Glasgow; grandchildren, Mallory, Janice, Lisa, Lance, Jennifer, Janet, Harold Jr. and Darcy; several great-grandchildren, great great-grandchildren and great great great-grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by sons, Harold, Ronald and Edward; grandson, Danny; sisters, Mary, Viola and Lelia; brothers, Gordon, Stanley, Bernie and Cecil. Visitation will be held 2-4, 7-9 p.m. Sunday in Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Guysborough. Funeral service will be held Monday at 2 p.m. in Wesley United Church, Rev. Leonard Oracheski officiating. Burial in Evergreen Cemetery. Family flowers only. Memorial donations may be made to Milford Haven Home for Special Care, Guysborough, or the Alzheimer Society of Nova Scotia. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Guysborough.
