BRIGHT, Sarah Mae - 52, We'koqma'q First Nation, died at home on Tuesday, May 3, 2005. Born in Baddeck, she was a daughter of the late Louis and Mary Bernard, and adopted daughter of the late Mary Ann and Charles Francis Martin. She was a homemaker and a member of Holy Trinity Parish, We'koqma'q. Surviving are her husband, Carson; daughters, Jennifer (Adrian) GooGoo, Carolee Bright, Trina Bright, Jessica Bright, all of We'koqma'q; sons, Jonathan, Kelly, both of We' koqma'q; sisters, Phyllis (Bernie) GooGoo, Isabel Martin, both of We'koqma'q; brothers, Walter (Catherine) Isadore, James GooGoo, Roy Bernard, Gilbert Isadore, Frederick Isadore, all of Wagmatcook; Stephen (Mary Ann) Martin, Noel (Patsy) Martin, both of We'koqma'q; 11 grandchildren. She was predeceased by sister, June Peck; brothers, Roderick Isadore and Frank Martin. Visitation will be after 2 p.m. Saturday in the family residence, 23 Reservation Rd., We'koqma'q. Funeral mass will be held 11 a.m. Monday in Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church, Father Angus Morris officiating. Burial in the parish cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Whycocomagh. Words of comfort may be forwarded to the family at: www.haverstocks.com
