BONA, Sharon Ann - 50, Port Hawkesbury, died Saturday, February 25, 2006, in St. Martha's Regional Hospital, Antigonish. Born in Antigonish, she was a daughter of the late Joseph E. and Dulcie H. (LeLacheur) Ryan.
Sharon was a homemaker and was a member of St. Joseph's Parish, Port Hawkesbury, former member of the Ladies Auxiliary, Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 43, Port Hawkesbury. She is survived by her husband, John; stepson, John (Marla), Innisfil, Ont.; sons, Tommy (Natasha), Troy; Marcel (Joscyln), Iqalauit; sisters, Jeanette Hull, Mississauga, Ont.; Joan MacIntyre-Richard, Port Hawkesbury; Elaine (Don) McDonough, Nanaimo, B.C.; Linda Ryan, Powell River, B.C.; Shirley (Gary) Collins, Truro; Judy (Roy) Gilbert, Troy; Carol (Jerry) Boudreau, Iqalauit; Carmel Ryan, Halifax; grandchildren, Morgan, Jaden, Alyssa, Kali, Nicholas. She was predeceased by brothers, Joseph and Leo.
Visitation will be 4-9 p.m. Tuesday with a vigil service at 8:30 p.m., both in Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Port Hawkesbury. Funeral mass 11 a.m. Wednesday in St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, Father Bill Crispo officiating. Burial in the parish cemetery at a later date.
