BORDEN, Patricia "Joyce" - 75, Sunnyville, died Saturday June 10, 2006, in Dartmouth General Hospital. Born in New Glasgow, she was a daughter of Bernice Borden, Truro, and the Late Clarence E. Borden. She was a homemaker and member of Sunnyville United Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, Clarence; daughters, Janice (Michael) Borden and Nancy (Joseph), both of Dartmouth; sons, Robert (Sharon), Dartmouth; Arthur (Patricia), Halifax; David (Joy), Edward (Lynda), both of Toronto; Stephen, Sunnyville; James, New Glasgow; sisters, Marion Borden, Laura Maxwell, both of Montreal; Freda Bishop, Sydney; Theresa, Ottawa; Donna Clyke, Sunnyville; brothers, Charles (Evelyn), Truro; George (Rose), Montreal; James (Della), Dartmouth; 35 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by daughter, Susan; son, Clayton; grandson, Jamal.

Visitation will be 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today in Sunnyville United Baptist Church, where funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, Rev. Pauline Coffin officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Donations in Joyce's memory can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of choice.
