Borden, Florence Mae "Flossie" – 92, Sunnyville. God has called one of his Angels home. Flossie died peacefully surround by her love ones at home on Thursday, March 31, 2011. Born in Guysborough, she was a daughter of the late Walter and Sarah (Tynes) Byard. Flossie worked doing house cleaning for years and Canso Seafreez. She was a lifelong member of Sunnyville United Baptist Church. She survived by her sons, Albert, Sunnyville; Lawrence (Mariane), Boylston; Stanley (Kandy), Antigonish; Donnie (Jan), Toronto; James (Rose), Sunnyville; Daughters, Joan and Thelma both of Halifax; Debbie, Sunnyville; Gail (Bernie) Guysborough; Two special grandsons, Albert "Allie", Dartmouth; Bernie (Danielle), Antigonish; niece, Elizabeth (Bobby), Sunnyville; 25 grandchildren; 35 great grandchildren; brothers, Owen and Howard (Josephine) both of Sunnyville; sister, Emma, New Glasgow; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Charlie; brothers, Archie, Ronnie, Samuel, Joe, John and Jerry; sisters, Mary, Cora and Lousie. Visitation will be 2- 9 p.m. Sunday in Sunnyville United Baptist Church from where funeral will be held 2 p.m. Monday, April 4, Pastor Warren Fitzgerald officiating. Burial in Evergreen Cemetery.
