BOND, Annie Marie – 70, Halfway Cove, Guysborough Co., Milford Haven Home for Special Care. It is with great sadness to announce the passing of Mom, on Friday May 25, 2012, in Milford Haven Home for Special Care. Born in Guysborough, she was a daughter of the late James and Alice (Snyder) Bond.
She faught her many illnesses with great attitude and always had a good word for everyone. She loved a good laugh, anyone’s company. She travelled a lot in the books she read over the years. She worked as a waitress, housekeeper and laundry personal at St. Martha’s Regional Hospital. She later came home to be a homemaker. She was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Parish, Queensport.
Surviving are her daughter, Donna (Paul) Jackson, Halfway Cove; special grandson, Matthew (Jill), Dartmouth; sister, Mary Snow, Guysborough; brother, James (Donna) Bond, Halfway Cove; special cousins, Aggie Barkhouse, Mahone Bay; Isabel, B.C.; as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, James and Alice (Snyder) Bond; niece, Theresa Jackson;
Visitation will be held from 3-9p.m. Monday in the Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Guysborough. Funeral Mass will be 11a.m. Tuesday from St. Vincent de Paul Roman Catholic Church, Queensport. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery. Family flowers only. Memorial donations may be made to St. Vincent de Paul Parish, Milford Haven Home for Special Care, Guysborough, or to the Guysborough Memorial Hospital.
