Bouchie, Roger Charles – 56, Riverton, Pictou Co., formerly of Little Dover, Guysborough Co. It is with great sadness that the family of the late Roger Charles Bouchie announce his sudden passing on Thursday, April 4, 2013 in Aberdeen Regional Hospital, New Glasgow.
Born in Little Dover. Roger was a great husband, father, "Best Grampie" and friend ever. His love for his family, music and friends was what made him who he was. Roger by trade was a millwright/machinist and was employed by Northern Pulp.
He sadly leaves behind his loving wife of 34 years, Geraldine "Jeannie" (McKeough), his son, Dereck; daughter, Shannon (Matthew); precious grandson, Declan Maurice; parents-in-law, Bridget and William McKeough; siblings, Evie Keefe, Bud (Marj), Martin (Val), Emily (Howard), Hilda (Mike), Bobby (Colleen), Joyce, Susie (Danny), Colleen (Kevin) , many nieces and nephews who loved him dearly. Roger was predeceased by his parents, Howard and Aleta (Newell) Bouchie; sister, Ethel and brother-in-law Gabe Keefe.
Visitation will be held 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, April 9, in St. Agnes Parish Hall, Little Dover. Burial at a later date. Donations in memory of Roger may be made to a charity of one’s choice. Words of comfort may be forwarded to the family at: www.haverstocks.com
