Blackburn, Robert Stephen - "Flash" age 54, Canso, Guysborough Co. Passed away peacefully at his home in Canso on Tuesday, January 6, 2015. Born in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario he was a son of the late James and Wilda (Nicolle) Blackburn. Robert was a member of Star of the Sea parish, Canso and a member of Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 46, Canso. Flash was a fisherman most of his life in the Canso area. He is survived by his daughter, Nadine (Ryan), Bedford; he will be sadly missed by his best friend and partner, Marlene; brothers, Mark, Toronto; Mike (Michelle), Sault Ste. Marie; sisters, Denise, (Bill); Dartmouth; Tammy, Sault Ste. Marie, mother-in-law, Tutty, Canso; stepmother, Val Blackburn, Sault Ste. Marie; uncle, Clayton (Nicolle), Hamilton; aunt, Lorraine Henry, Mulgrave; nieces, Morgan and Logan, nephews, Dylan and Tyler all of Sault Ste. Marie.
