Brymer, Kenneth Morrow – Manchester, Guys. Co. It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden death of Kenneth Morrow Brymer, 74 of Manchester, Guysborough County, who passed away on Friday, August 16, 2019 at home. Born in Guysborough on August 13, 1945, he was the son of the late Alexander Brymer and Hazel (Morrow)(Brymer) Hayden and stepson of John Hayden.
Kennie held various positions throughout his career, being employed with the Atomic Energy of Canada Limited, Syncrude Canada, East Guysborough Forestry Association, and Ocean Nutrition. He was a Christmas tree grower and took great pride in his Christmas trees and the many compliments from those who received them. Kennie enjoyed gardening, hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, watching the Detroit Red Wings and spending time with his friends, especially at the camp. Kennie will be remembered for his storytelling, quick wit and occasional prank. Dad was a hard worker with a dedicated work ethic; he held the belief that with each day there was a job to be done and done well, and his rest would come in the evening, you have earned your rest Dad.
He will always be loved and fondly remembered by his wife, Frances (MacDonald); son, Blair (Lorraine), Manchester; daughter, Shauna (Fabian Doiron), Boylston; grandchildren, Dylan, Breanne, Colin, Trent, Avery, Kendall and Carrie; sisters, Elsie (Harold) Miller, Ottawa, Ont.; Evelyn Brouillette, Trenton, Ont.; Barbara Kelly, Toronto, Ont.; Janet (Bud) Theriault, Gibsons, B.C.; Beverly (Cyril) Power, Port Hawkesbury; Laurel (Larry) Purcell, Cole Harbour; the MacDonald Family; numerous nieces and nephews.
