It is with very, very heavy broken hearts that we advise of the unexpected passing of Nathaniel Thomas Haywood of Lower Sackville, at age 28 on Tuesday, October 24, 2017.
Nathaniel leaves behind his parents, Tom and Darlene Haywood, Lower Sackville, brother, Jeremy and three special nephews, Christian, Ryan and Nikolas. Nathaniel was predeceased by paternal grandparents, Hilton and Helen Haywood, maternal grandparents, Stan and Lee Wood, his brother, Chad Haywood, and other extended family members. Nathaniel will be truly missed by numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, nephews, and his countless friends.
Nathaniel wanted everyone to be happy and always helped his family, friends and neighbors whenever in need. It made him happy to help others. Nathaniel enjoyed so many things with his family and friends.
Cremation has taken place as per his wishes. A celebration of Nathaniel’s short life will be held with visitation from 7-9 p.m. Saturday, November 4th in Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, 54 Queen Street, Guysborough. The service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday November 5th, in St. Francis of Assisi Roman Catholic Church, Rte 344, St. Francis Harbour, Guysborough Co., with Father Allan MacPhie officiating, assisted by Father Paul Abbass. Burial to follow in the Parish cemetery. A reception will be held in St. Francis Church Hall after the interment.
