HARRIS, Harriett "Jean" – Age 79, Port Hawkesbury, passed away on Thursday, April 19, 2018, in St. Martha’s Regional Hospital, Antigonish. Born in Antigonish, she was a daughter of the late Hugh John and "Daisy" Emma (Forsyth) MacIntyre.
Surviving are her daughter, Shelley Harris (Michael Filipowich), Los Angeles CA; son, Alexander "Sandy" Harris (Jan Scott), Port Hawkesbury; grandchildren, Matthew, Megan and Zoe Harris and Ripley Filipowich; great-grandchildren, Marcus and Marlowe Daisy Demko. She was predeceased by her husband, Alex.
A private funeral service will be held in Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Port Hawkesbury. Burial in St. Joseph Parish Cemetery, Port Hawkesbury. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice. Words of comfort may be forwarded to the family at www.haverstocks.com
